Refund/ Late Policy for Photo Sessions and Prints

In the case of camera failure, or any other unforeseen incident that prevents Charles Gipson Photography from shooting on a scheduled date. On our behalf we will waive the $100.00 rescheduling fee and a new date will be scheduled; or the client will be refunded of their deposit, if applicable. 


No refunds will be given under any circumstances with the exceptions of still births, and or pre term labor, if you fail to attend the photo session 
on the day and time listed when the booking was made.

Due to the nature of digital photography and the fact that photographs, once sent, cannot be returned; Charles Gipson Photography Studios has a strict NO REFUNDS POLICY. Once a transaction has been completed it is then considered non-refundable or non-transferable. If a buyer has selected and purchased an incorrect edited photo, he/she must notify CGPS, before receiving the “incorrect” photograph.

Refunds will NOT be given due to “not liking a photo”, selecting an incorrect photo after the buyer has already received the photograph, or any other reason. If a mistaken photo is sent to the buyer, as documented on the invoice, We will send the correct photo to the buyer free of charge.

POLICIES

Due to the nature of custom photography, all sales are final. CGPS does, of course guarantee that the photos you receive meet the highest standards in every aspect and works with the customers to approve designs and custom work before orders are placed. 

Payment of orders is due with a deposit or in full when the order is placed. If you have prints with your selected package  your photos will arrive within 1 week at our studio location after you have returned the chosen edits with each specific photo size to our business line.  Edits are an additional $40.00 and rush fees are an additional $80.00 per image. All unedited images are to be returned to you within 5-10 business days and rush fee edits are to be returned within 3 business days. (THIS DOES NOT INCLUDE WEEKENDS OR MAJOR HOLIDAY).  All rates are subject to change at any time. In the interest of fairness to all customers, all rates are non-negotiable unless booked through a special promotion.

 
The 50% session deposit is paid in advance to secure your chosen date. It is non-refundable or non transferable if one is to cancel, if a client wishes to reschedule one must do so by paying a new deposit on our website and select a new date; any previous deposits are non-refundable or non transferable towards a future appointment. Special consideration is made for maternity and newborn sessions with documentation. Please make your selection carefully to ensure you will be present for your appointment before booking ,and if you have any questions please call us at (312)- 971-4582
LATE POLICY FOR QUICKSHOOT PACKAGES (30mins)

A LATE FEE OF $30.00 PLUS YOUR REMAINING BALANCE WILL BE DUE AFTER 15 MINUTES OF BEING LATE, AFTER 20 MINUTES THE APPOINTMENT WILL BE AUTOMATICALLY CANCELLED! PLEASE BE MINDFUL THAT PAYING A LATE FEE DOES NOT EXTEND EXTRA TIME,YOUR APPOINTMENT MUST END AT ITS EXPECTED TIME! NO EXCEPTIONS! IF WE HAVE AVAILABILITY TO SERVICE YOU THE SAME DAY,  THE FEE WILL BE $30 AFTER EVERY 15 MINS OF BEING LATE + REMAINING BALANCE!

LATE POLICY FOR PREMIUM PACKAGES AND ABOVE 

A LATE FEE OF $60.00 PLUS YOUR REMAINING BALANCE WILL BE DUE AFTER 30 MINUTES OF BEING LATE, AFTER 35 MINUTES THE APPOINTMENT WILL BE AUTOMATICALLY CANCELLED! PLEASE BE MINDFUL THAT PAYING A LATE FEE DOES NOT EXTEND EXTRA TIME, YOUR APPOINTMENT MUST END AT ITS EXPECTED TIME! NO EXCEPTIONS! IF WE HAVE AVAILABILITY TO SERVICE YOU THE SAME DAY,  THE FEE WILL BE $60 AFTER EVERY 30 MINS OF BEING LATE + REMAINING BALANCE!
